8.2 @17:30 – Ennakkonäytös: Amrum (2026)

Sunday 8.2 @17:30–19:03 (93min)

It is the end of World War II. Twelve-year-old Nanning lives on the picturesque German island of Amrum, where he helps his family hunt seals, fish, and farm. But their idyllic life is shattered when his mother, a supporter of the Nazi party, hears of Hitler’s death and sinks into a depression, refusing to eat anything but white bread, butter, and honey. To obtain these hard-to-find foods, Nanning must navigate the chaos of the post-war period to find his own way.

Directed by Fatih Akin (Head-On, The Edge of Heaven), Amrum – The Last Days of War Through the Eyes of a Child is a moving, historical coming-of-age story based on screenwriter Hark Bohm’s own war experiences. The film stars Diane Kruger, winner of the Best Actress award at Cannes, Laura Tonke, and Jasper Billerbeck, among others.
