Eva von Bahr is a Swedish prosthetics, makeup, and hair designer known for her thoughtful and character-focused approach to transformation. Working closely with longtime collaborator Love Larson, she has earned multiple Academy Award nominations for Best Makeup and Hairstyling, including for The 100-Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out the Window and Disappeared, A Man Called Ove, and Dune: Part One. She has also been nominated for BAFTAs for both Dune: Part One and Dune: Part Two.<\/p>\n

Based in Sweden, von Bahr brings a deep understanding of storytelling, texture, and emotion to her work \u2014 using makeup and hair design to help actors fully embody their characters. Her projects range from intimate Scandinavian films to large-scale international productions, united by a commitment to artistry, precision, and collaboration.<\/p>\n
