Saturday 7.2 @16:30–18:30 (86min + Q&A)
Director, screenwriter and actress Anna Eriksson will be there! Q&A after the film in the café.
In Anna Eriksson’s breathtaking film E, Finland’s former prime minister causes a scandal at the Nobel Prize ceremony and disappears into the desert. There she meets her doppelganger and other people who have lost their way. The main characters wandering in the desert face the greatest threat from their own doppelgangers, who try to destroy the original versions of themselves. This allows them to move into the Metaverse, beyond the reach of reality and symbolic exchange. The film E is about the spiritual loneliness of modern man and creates a modern myth about the greatest tragedy of our time.

“This story-based film trilogy has come to an end. I want to make a film about the future; visionary, dangerous and hypnotic. The postmodern person has seen everything except their own subconscious. Welcome to the desert of reality.”
