Eva von Bahr is a Swedish prosthetics, makeup, and hair designer known for her thoughtful and character-focused approach to transformation. Working closely with longtime collaborator Love Larson, she has earned multiple Academy Award nominations for Best Makeup and Hairstyling, including for The 100-Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out the Window and Disappeared, A Man Called Ove, and Dune: Part One. She has also been nominated for BAFTAs for both Dune: Part One and Dune: Part Two.
Based in Sweden, von Bahr brings a deep understanding of storytelling, texture, and emotion to her work — using makeup and hair design to help actors fully embody their characters.
